The Río Mundo Campground is located right in Sierra del Segura, only 13 km from the headwaters of the Río Mundo River ("The Falls") and inside the recently-created Calares and Sima Nature Preserves. At the Río Mundo Campground you can enjoy fully-equipped, modern facilities, many of which are newly built. |

The campsites (from 40 to 80 m2) are set in a large grove of deciduous trees. Most campsites include an electrical connection (6 or 10 amp.).
The entire campground is strategically located near sources of potable water, which may be used for human consumption as well as to supply trailers.
The campground is completely flat and somewhat stony. Most of it is covered in gravel to keep down the dust. There are some spaces with grass. |

We also have two small open camping areas -the High Plateau and the Pool Area- located in two shady pine groves. These areas are ideal for small tents or small groups that do not require an electrical connection.
Reservations cannot be made for these areas due to their characteristics. |
